Ms Bott believes a wild adder attacked her dog
A dog owner claims her rottweiler died after an attack by a snake in a Leicestershire park.
Lorraine Bott said she was walking her two dogs at the Sussex Road Park in South Wigston when the attack happened in nearby bushes.
The dog was put down the next day. Ms Bott has called for Oadby and Wigston Borough Council to do more to highlight the danger to dog owners.
The council said signs warning of the incident had been put up in the park.

"Clearly I'm extremely sympathetic with the lady. It is a traumatic experience for anyone who loses a dog but we have to measure our response according to what is the perceived threat."
The dog was taken to a vet for treatment but was later put down.
Lorraine Bott said: "Buddy deteriorated as the day went on, his organs were failing and he had to go on a drip.
"He was wrapped in a blanket because he was shivering but his temperature was sky high and he couldn't pass urine and had diarrhoea and sickness.
"We just decided that he was in too much pain and the best thing to do was to have him put to sleep."
Ms Bott believes the snake may have been a wild adder but Michael Jeeves from the local Wildlife Trust said the park was an extremely unlikely place for an adder to inhabit.
He said: "I would imagine it is an escaped one (snake) that somebody's kept as a pet and it has either just got out, or been thrown out."

let me talk about my band. if you are younger than 18, then you should leave this page. actually you don't have to if you don't want to.
it is formed by 4 members. vocal is yarichin, guitarist is otaku, bass is dote-(virgin) drums is me. all of us has strong personalities. vocalist loves sex. he likes JK. he sucks at singing. he can't sing. but he is really a good man. he is maybe handsome. he is a good performer. he quited high school.

If I were the girl trapped in a room of mean old men, before escaping from the window, I would put many furnitures on front of the door so that the mean old men could not open the door that easily.
If I were the author, I would change the title “Hound of Baskersville” to “White tiger of Baskersville”, because I think that sounds better and white tiger is my favorite animal.

Setting: A wild wet place in the Southwest of England.
Points of view: This story is told by first and third person.
Conflict: A character is in conflict with the hound of Baskersville.
Climax: It is when Holmes founds the hound and tries to kill it.
Irony: It is when Holmes got his shoe stolen. Not a pair but only one.
Theme: If you lie to a detective, they’ll find out the truth anyway so don’t lie!!!
Plot: There a huge hound in the forest near the house of Baskersville. Few people got killed by the hound. So a messenger from Baskersville asked for Help of a famous detective Cherlock Holmes. He decided to solve the problem and at last he killed the hound forever.

I though Sherlock Holmes was more young and kind guy, but he was actually old and a little mean. He is a detective and I am a student, our lives are completely different. In the story the environment was very different from ours, because of the dates. This story is about few hundred years old and their fashions are very different. People still smoke pipes in the story. I think the author is very smart and clever. Maybe when the author was younger, he solved many problems like a detective.
I disagree with the author’s view of people and life. Because the author always judges people whether he or she is a good person or evil person at the first glance. I learned the lying is useless for detectives. They would find out the truth. So I decided not to lie to detectives. I wanted Sherlock Holmes to be more young and handsome but he was an old men.

Today , there are lots of genre of music in this world. People enjoy music at everywhere. Wikipedia says “Music is an art form whose medium is sound organized in time. Common elements of music are pitch, rhythm, dynamics, and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture.” By listening to them, people get sad, happy and some even cry. Everywhere they go there’s music. It has become one of the most important factor of life for many people. There are people saying “No music, no life.” This one great art called music can be classified on the basis of many genres.
The first one is called popular music. Reason why it’s called popular music is because the number of listeners are very large. It’s being played at many places like on TV, streets, and shops. Lyrics are often cheerful and easy to understand. Famous pop musicians for example are Avril Lavigne and Ayumi Hamasaki.
The next one is the rock music. Boys love this genre. Rock music can be also divided into many more categories to something like punk rock, hard rock, heavy rock and etc. The lyrics often mean hatred and anger against the government and environment but sometimes there are love songs. Compared to other kinds of music, rock music is more enthusiastic. One of the famous rock stars are Elvis Presley and Jimmy Page.
The last one is the hip hop music. It has become popular since the end of 1960’s in New York by African Americans. Its unique way of singing called rapping which is one of the reasons why hip hop become popular. Their fashions are also unique. They wear big pants and shirts. It was popular only among African American at first but now, variety of people like it. Famous hip hoppers are Eminem, Jesse(RIZE) and Nelly.
There are more and more genres of music in this world. Those listed above are only tiny part of it. “What it is interesting is that by asking people who their favorite artists are, people can judge their personalities.” Music affects people’s mind and fashions. In future, music will always be played at everywhere and keep making people happy.

Ebenezer Scrooge is a mean old man. He hates Christmas. He thinks Christmas is just an excuse for people to miss work. He doesn't believe in all of the good cheer and charity that the Christmas promotes.
One night, Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his old business friend, Jacob Marley. He was as mean as Scrooge is. Marley tells Scrooge that if he continues to live so selfishly, he will never be happy.
Three ghosts visit Scrooge that night. The Ghost of Christmas past, the Ghost of Christmas present, and the Ghost of Christmas yet to come. They show Scrooge that he is making many mistakes. Scrooge is frightened by the ugly picture of his life and promises to change his ways.
After the ghosts left Scrooge’s house, he has completely changed. He became jolly and friendly. He went to parties and enjoyed Christmas for the first time.
